We cover the 4 iconic west-coast sites in the right order to beat the crowds and minimise driving time. Start from Toyapakeh harbour around 9:00 AM (after your morning boat from Lembongan), return by 4:30 PM.
1. Kelingking Beach — the iconic T-Rex
The most photographed cliff in Indonesia: a T-Rex shaped limestone outcrop plunging into a turquoise bay. Photo viewpoint at the top — 5 minutes walk from the car park. We arrive early (~9:30 AM) to beat the crowds.
2. Broken Beach — the natural arch
A circular cove enclosed by a cliff, pierced by a natural arch where the ocean flows in. Spectacular from above. 10 minutes drive from Kelingking.
3. Angel’s Billabong — the natural infinity pool
200m from Broken Beach, a natural rock pool carved by the tides. Crystal-clear turquoise water. Swimming only at low tide — your driver-guide will let you know if it’s safe that day.
4. Crystal Bay — swim and snorkel
The most beautiful walk-in beach on the west coast. Crystal-clear water, white sand, iconic rock in the middle of the bay. Snorkelling and swimming. Last stop before lunch.
Lunch — Amok Sun & Cliff Club
Perched on Nusa Penida’s north-west cliff, Amok Sun & Cliff Club is where we take you for lunch. Panoramic view 120m above the ocean, bamboo architecture, two infinity pools, and a menu rebuilt in May 2026 around plancha grills, pizzas, salads and burgers.

After lunch you have 1.5 to 2 hours on site — swim in the infinity pools, lounge on the sundeck, or just enjoy the view before heading back to Toyapakeh harbour.

FAQ
How long does the day take?
Plan for around 7 hours on Penida (9:00 AM to ~4:30 PM). You take the morning boat from Lembongan (boats depart every 30–60 min from Mushroom Bay or Yellow Bridge, 10-min crossing), we meet you at Toyapakeh harbour, and we drop you back at Toyapakeh for the late-afternoon boat back to Lembongan. Total door-to-door from your hotel: about 9 hours.
Does the team speak English?
Yes. Roy, the Indonesian dive instructor who coordinates bookings on WhatsApp, speaks English (and replies in French via Google Translate if needed). Your driver-guide on Penida speaks English. The whole experience runs smoothly in English.
How do I get from my hotel to Lembongan harbour?
Your hotel can usually arrange a scooter pickup or short transfer to Mushroom Bay or Yellow Bridge harbour (typically 30,000–80,000 IDR depending on where you stay). Just ask reception the day before. Boats to Toyapakeh leave every 30–60 minutes from around 7:30 AM, so plan to be at the harbour around 8:00–8:30 AM.
What exactly is included in the Amok lunch?
Each guest gets one appetizer, one main course (salad, burger, pasta or pizza — the grill section is not included), and one non-alcoholic drink (soft drink, mocktail, fresh juice, coffee or mineral water). Beer, wine and spirits are extra. See the full Amok menu (PDF).

What if I need to cancel?
Free cancellation up to 48h before the trip — deposit fully refunded. Within 48h, the deposit is kept (costs already committed). In case of extreme weather or harbour closure by the authorities, full reschedule or refund.
