This remarkable setting called for an equally remarkable concept! If the idea of indulging in a bespoke cocktail while lounging in a <strong>120-meter-high pool and watching the sunset<\/strong> sounds tempting, read on. Several meters high platforms offer <strong>private spaces<\/strong> with a 360\u00b0 view around. It has two beaches on each side, to lie in the water, and a shallow central area. The main criteria were skills, experience but also a good understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction. They come from different horizons but one-third of the staff comes from Nusa Penida. The whole training period was an opportunity for them to get to know each other. They now form a very close team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team also actively participated in the development of the restaurant menu and the list of drinks. All the staff has been very enthusiastic and very involved in the opening of Amok.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><iframe title=\"Amok sunset staff\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/44UkO2X6ggI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-wide-variety-of-amok-signature-cocktails-and-mocktails\">A wide variety of Amok signature cocktails and mocktails<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The cocktail and mocktail menu was specially made for Amok with two Bali-trained bartenders: Agus, who comes from Batu Madeg village in Nusa Penida, and Arif from Lombok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails) are prepared with fresh fruit juice. The dishes have been specially designed for Amok restaurant. It is also possible to book in advance for dinner, but it would be a shame not to enjoy the sunset, which is very spectacular as of 5.30 pm. One of the <a href=\"https:\/\/nusapenida.org\/15-awesome-sites-in-nusa-penida-island\/\">places to be in Nusa Penida<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amok also regularly organizes techno parties with international DJs. Each DJ has his musical style but the music is always lounge at sunset time to preserve the magic of the moment and then evolves during dinner and the rest of the evening. You will then continue this path till the end. About halfway the course is no longer paved. There are regular signs to confirm that, yes, you are on the right road!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The road is not (yet) brand new. If you are afraid to come back at night with your scooter, a shuttle service runs from the main road (at the fork) to Amok. Ask for schedules beforehand but there is a shuttle bus every half hour or so. You can park your scooter at the fork. If you have a driver, all of them on the island know Amok and will bring you there without any problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone wp-image-3039 size-full\"><img
